This 5k Run is presented by the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers
Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation who are “Building for
America’s Bravest.” Proceeds from this race will go to building
“Smart Homes” for two Georgia triple amputee veterans.

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation was founded over 10 years ago in memory of NYC Firefighter, Stephen Siller. On September 11th, Stephen was on his way home when he heard of the first plane hitting the Twin Towers. Stephen strapped on sixty pounds of gear, left his truck in the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel and ran over 3 miles to the Twin Towers to join his squad. Each September, thousands of runners gather in New York City to “Follow the Footsteps” that Stephen took that fateful day. Over the past 10 years, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has helped those in need. The guiding principle that shapes the Foundation is to transcend the tragedy of 9/11 and change one life at a time for the better. Join us as we run in Stephen’s memory and raise funds to build new Smart Homes for Georgia Veterans – SFC Michael A. Schlitz and US Marine Cpl. Todd Love.
