Superheroes can fly but they walk, run and trot too! The 8th Annual “Walk of HEROes” 5K will take place Saturday, September 20 at Oakhurst Community Center. Join the DeKalb Community Service Board and the Brighter DeKalb Foundation as they raise funds to transform the lives of those challenged with mental illness, substance addictions and developmental disabilities.

This fundraiser benefits DeKalb Community Service Board, a provider of mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities services for uninsured and underinsured citizens.

Awards and Extras
Overall M & F, Masters M & F, and 1st place M & F in age groups (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over.)

Must register by September 3rd to be guaranteed a Walk of HEROes t-shirt.
