Every December, thousands of visitors come to Madison to tour the ante-bellum homes decked out in all their Christmas splendor.
As a runner or walker, you can sleep a little later this Saturday morning and your visit can be twofold. First to participate in the Christmas Rush Classic 8K Run, 5K Run or Walk, or One Mile Fun Run/Walk. Then, stay to tour the Madison-Morgan County Historical District with all its traditional decorations. Whether you stay or not, you will be treated to a long-sleeve t-shirt or optional sweat shirt with a beautiful Christmas multi-color print, hot homemade vegetable soup, hot apple cider and other goodies.
