Join teachers, students and families for the Pi Day Race. The Pi Day Race provides the perfect opportunity to build excitement around mathematics and science education! Pi Day, 3.14.15, is a fun celebration used by educators to draw attention to the important mathematical number pi. Pi, a transcendental number, is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter.
Pi Day Race has an innovative twist! While many 5K runs are 3.1 miles, the Pi Day 5-K will be a 3.14 mile run/walk. We are encouraging schools, universities, businesses, and families to come out to run/walk together to support and foster excitement about mathematics and science education.

You can pick up your race packet on race day starting at 6am but we strongly suggest pick up the day before due to the high volume of runners. Friends and family are welcome to pick up packets just bring the confirmation.

5K - $30 after Feb 2 and on race day

We always strive to start our races on time so be ready to start at the scheduled time.

Awards and Extras
There will be a finish line festival at Totally Running, 405 Peachtree Pkwy (across from the Collection of Forsyth).
Awards & Prizes to the the top 3 male/female, overall male/female masters, as well as 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female in all the typical age groups starting at 9 & under through 65+.
Awards are PIES!! from Crave Pie Studio of Duluth. In order to document that you actually won, winners will get a picture made with their pie.
